VITICULTURE

Made by our select family of biodynamic producers all of our wines are made by growers using low intervention methods without chemical additives.

NUMERO

Showcasing 100 iconic wines representing all 20 regions of Italy, our NUMERO Collection are limited edition wines made for us in small batches of around 180 bottles. We meticulously select the wines and the growers that we want in the collection - a "rare-rare" wine collection if you like, and the most important thing for us is that they are faithful expressions of the wine style typical of the terroir they represent, as well as having all the normal hallmarks of well made wine that we look for in the selection of all of our wines. We have so far only admitted five wines; from our homeland of Puglia NUMERO 01 - Primitivo di Manduria, NUMERO 02 - Salice Salentino and NUMERO 03 Nero di Troia, and from the north, NUMERO 06 - Barolo and NUMERO 07 Barbaresco being two of the most iconic of all Italian wines. PRODUCERS

We buy our wines directly from wineries that we have the utmost respect for and regard as partners rather than suppliers, we arrange all the transport and import/export ourselves so you can enjoy them as much as we do.

All of our wines are high quality and possibly the best you will find at any price in the UK, and we price our wines so they are as affordable as we can make them.

  • Our Values

    Originally inspired by our love of great wine from our adopted home of Puglia, we are committed to the sustainability and ecology of the communities where we source our selection of wines. The wineries we partner with from all over Italy are often small family run businesses, or otherwise small cooperatives of local growers producing limited quantities of high quality wine using low intervention sustainable and organic methods. As well as email and text we offer phone and video calls at your convenience to describe the wines in detail so you get exactly what you want. 

  • Delivery

    Our wines are special so we expect special care when delivering them. We either deliver locally in person depending on your postcode or order quantity, otherwise we use Parcelforce to deliver nationally as they are one of the few carriers that have a quality assurance program to ensure that the wines are packed, handled and delivered as we expect. We handle all orders individually, and concentrate on building lasting relationships with our customers as we know that once you have tried our wines, you will want to re-order from us over and over again.   • Trade

    We welcome enquiries for private and corporate events and from independent restaurants, wine bars and retailers that want to offer quality wines rather than the normal mass produced substandard wines cheap for a reason or ridiculously marked up. We are AWRS registered and having sourced and selected wines that we wish to stock, we then purchase directly from the wineries and arrange all aspects of the transport to the UK handling all shipping, customs declarations and duty payments to get them to the UK at the least possible cost so we can offer them to our customers at a fair price.
